I wanted to throw up the first time I heard this, never bothered listening to it again.

There appears to have been a power struggle within Architecture in Helsinki prior to their 3rd LP 'Places Like This'. Down from an octet to a sextet, Kellie Sutherland is the only female left & even she barely gets to sing here. Front-man Cameron Bird controls proceedings & that is a negative, with his outlandishly annoying vocals falling between The B-52s Fred Schneider & The Muppets! Dancier than their previous LPs, much of the multi-faceted percussion has been replaced by synths, lending an 80s New Wave element. Bottom line: This band continue to be the definition of "love or hate". Recommended Tracks: Same Old Innocence & Hold Music.
