Not going to lie, I've never heard DB in my life and the only CoF song I've heard was a crappy cover of Iron Maiden's Fear of the Dark. And I'm going to keep it that way

Wait, are you thinking about Graveworm's cover of Fear of the Dark?
|
| |
old Cradle Of Filth is actually really good. DB sucks.

Wait, are you thinking about Graveworm's cover of Fear of the Dark? No, that was a great cover.

Honestly, why the hell are you talking about this in a fucking The Crown review.
Oh wait, is it because Cravinov wants to exhibit his extensive knowledge of obscure black metal yet again? I think it is.
How about you move this discussion. I know I sound like a douche, but for real. This Message Edited On 08.07.07

Wow, Brain Dead...touche, touche.
|

Old CoF is very good.
And to Dargon; no your knowledge of BM didn't annoy me. You didn't even express that you had any knowledge, you just made immature comments about the bands mentioned by Crav or me.
That's what annoyed me.This Message Edited On 08.07.07

Brain Dead is brain dead.

Excellent review! This band rules, especially with Lindberg as their vocalist.
"I like music that gets my adrenaline going, not music where I sit around and go "omg beautifullllll I like to ponder things and be mysterious", which is basically how black metal comes off to me as, minus Bathory."
Holy fuck, I cant tell you how much I laughed when I read that. Black metal though is generally really fast.

Oh don't get me wrong, I know the tempo has a good pace to it, but usually black metal has the sludgey production tone that makes it sound blehhhhh
|
| |
It's not sludgey, it's fuzzy. :p

Album Rating: 4.5
This is near perfection. Excellent mix all round combined with quite possibly one of the most crushing productions ever make this a great swansong even though it's basically a re-recorded album.
