Bring The Light, Doomsday Clock, Tarantula are my favorites off this album.
But this album is pretty solid overall.

I love how you just flipped out over the wrong thing. I was talking about you wrote "really nicely." Thanks for being reasonable.

yeah I know you were talking about 'really nicely', but I just didn't see what was wrong with it. It just seemed like macho bs to me, and what if I was homosexual? I'd like to think you'd be a little more accepting. But yeah forget it, I'm in a rubbish mood, exaggerated e.t.c.

nah I just thought it sounded it retarded when I read it. friends? xoxo

Tarantula was a great single I don't know why everyone didn't like it. Its easily one of the top 5 off of this album. Even though the album isn't astonishingly awesome...its still better than Machina. People need to stop assuming it going to be bad, posting it, and not complaining. Jesus listen to the fucking album and then state your opinion. This Message Edited On 07.06.07This Message Edited On 07.06.07

While I agree that this may not be the original Smashing Pumpkins, I am glad that they have released new material. I have not heard all of the record, but I have heard bits and pieces. They seem to be doind just fine and there are still some exciting parts on the cd. I cannot wait until I can hear it fully. Great review.

This is good stuff. Certainly not the Pumpkins best but not close to being their worst. A very good album.

Has anyone else always thought that regardless of the material, the Pumpkins have always rocked much, much more live than on any studio recording? Or am I alone on this one? I mean the Siamese Dream record, for example, is amazing without a doubt, but who doesn't watch Viewphoria and know that it doesn't kick the shit out of the studio work?
Anyway, from what I hear, not only is the album a lot more promising than I expected, but I'm still buying it and seeing them when they come through.
... and James never wrote THAT many songs.

This got a very positive review in my paper, but it doesn't matter because I'd buy it no matter what press it got.
