2.5 is a bit harsh. There are really good moments on here, but Carcass sure know how to have the dull moments. Second half is definitely better than the first.

Everybody loves Heartwork, but every now and then we need a semi-melodic Carcass that is heavy but we can still understand. That is what this album was made for.
