Good review, man. I found that the vocals sounded more like King Diamond than on Advance & Vanquish. Not good or bad, just interesting. Can't agree enough with your statement that they are paying homage, rather than being very original. Nonetheless, I'm really liking this one so far.

These guys CRUSH lesser metal bands. For my money the power/speed metal of these guys and Dragonforce can't be beat.

I'm enjoying this album, over the top vocals but you get both ends of the spectrum which keeps things interesting, just straight out metal played by a band thats sounds like they are having a blast playing this stuff. A really fun album to listen to.This Message Edited On 11.16.07

Great review. I thought this was one of the 3 best albums of the year, once I got used to Cam's whining.

3 Inches Of Blood is probably one of my favorite Power Metal bands of the few i listen to. Both vocalists are very talented.

I definitly love this album, and it's a lot of fun to listen to. Probably doesn't help I'm from the same home town as these guys. All in all, it's a good "Heavy Metal" record and is a good listen. His vocals do kind of grate the ear after a while. but Jamie makes up for it.

I like them musically, but at a show about two years ago, they took the cash box. Not just the money, but the whole box. I found it to be a pretty funny prank that netted them about an extra 1,000 or so, but everyone else, and I mean everyone, that was there was pissed beyond recognition. I never held a grudge against them. I got into the show by moving equipment for a friends band. Didn't lose a cent. Haha.

i bought this cd and it sounded eerily like Miley Cyrus.

Saw these guys last night and the songs that were played from this album were ridiculously good. Probably will invest in this. Good review.
