definitely better than in love and death, artwork isn't too far behind. I find it way too hard to compare this and artwork, they are way different in their themes and aesthetics.

I'd say you're right about artwork being more cohesive but I find it just a little less enjoyable than this. Especially knowing how painful and hard it was for Bert to write Artwork. I mean he never plays anything off it and you can sense he was really going through some difficult times when listening to his lyrics. This is just a fun and much less depressing listen. ILAD has grown off a fair bit for me over the years.
