not exactly but if you listen to this at the same time as All The Right Reasons it syncs up perfectly and creates the most beautiful thing ever ya know

I'm late again, having just discovered what may be one of my favorite albums ever ;_;

How can you hate this Sputnik?



Lyrics are reminiscent of System of a Down, seeing as they range between extremely obvious socio-political messages and much deeper, more personal lyrics that often come across as a sociological message anyway.

So kind of in between Sunny Day Real Estate or Brand New and Circle Takes the Square and La Dispute.



Sounds like CTTS with the screams at times, while other times they sound like I Would Set Myself On Fire For You (and CTTS's slightly more melodic segments) when they sing, especially in unison. On the other hand, they manage to mix in songs with guitars that sound almost like Folk music (Folk Punk especially, obviously) and the song A Conversation sounds like something from La Dispute's early work on Hear, Hear.



The point is that I love these guys and Life At These Speeds doesn't even compare. You guys are all dicks.

Great review, pretty much sums up my feelings...some songs like Fall and Can't Change Everything are really great, but overall it's just decent. Nothing standout.
