This album is good, but not great. Crown of Love, Power Out, and Tunnels are all excellent songs but other then that there really isn't anything that special. Sure the music is very emotional but there are a lot or emotional and deep albums out there.

A very deep and sentimental album.
If somebody calls an album "deep" it probably isn't. it's sort of like if you used the word "classy" or "gangster" you probably aren't actually it yourself.

Zebra, what about Rebellion(Lies)?

I don't really think that Rebellion(Lies) is that good of a song. It's catchy but it's also a weaker version of Crown of Love.

I don't see that comparison at all.

This album is fantastic. It sounded lackluster at first but once it grew on me I realized there really isn't a bad song on it at all. Although it does get repetitive after a bit. Crown Of Love is my favorite, and Wake Up and the first Neighborhood are also amazing songs.

There are a few tracks on here that I love but some seem kind of weak to me. They might just not have the hooks that the others do and will probably grow on me.

Such a great album. Tunnels, Power Out, and Crown of Love are all magnificent songs, I'm with Zebra on this one, but I think the entire album is awesome, as oppose to him liking those three.

I don't really like Indie stuff so much, It seems every week there is a new over hyped band.
That being said I belive this album is lives up to the hype

OK, my rating for this is going up, I STILL absolutely adore every dripping second of this album. I still remember when i got into these guys was after hearing Wake Up on the radio playing live in NYC park with David Bowie and going ZOMGEPIC.

It's really interesting to read those old comments from 2004 now, almost ten years later. Back then, the album wasn't adored the way it is today, at least not by everyone. I guess it's always impossible, at the time of release, to predict that an album will become a classic the way this one did.
