Got a month's paycheck danglin' off your neck
And while you Cristal sippin', they rubbin' up they mittens
With heat in mint condition to start the getti-gettin'

In my top 5 hip hop records probs
this just has a vibe that's never been replicated plus it's insanely consistent for over 70 minutes

I really don't like Love or his raps in the opening track.
Have to listen a bit more to identify the other lesser tracks.

Mate, Love rules. That beat is one of the finest.
I spent my early years in Roosevelt Project
It was a bright valley wit some dark prospects

Also, Love into Ms. Fat Booty is like the best thing on the album.

From the first time I listened to this, I knew it was something special. It started as a 4.5 and only grew on me more from there. Hip hop classic right here. Mos' flow fits perfectly on almost every beat and I enjoy almost every track. Mos def is quickly becoming one of my favourites
