Right, that's what I'm talking about.

I knew this argument was coming, and I really don't want to get into it that much.
Ya but it's not enough emo to put it in the header. It's sort of like calling Thrice (pop punk/hardcore/metal). Sure there's metal influence in many of the attacks of the guitar and the double bass at random times but let's be real; the only Thrice songs that could be considered metal are "Paper Tigers" and "Under a Killing Moon." Not even one of their heaviest songs, "That Hideous Strength" is purely metal. There may be the metal tapping solo but the verses are completely one giant breakdown.

Come on Subtle, did you actually think you could sneak that past our emo-bloodhound, DFelon?

Well, I know there's not enough to really fit them in the genre, but I think it's notable enough to make it into the album header.

But no, they're obviously not an emo band.

The funny part is that I changed it, posted once, went shopping after turning off AIM, and got an IM from someone I don't know calling me a nazi when I got back, even though I wasn't even on.

I've only heard Mordecai and Ad a Dglgmut, but they're both excellent songs. I'll pick this album up eventually, though there's some other CDs I want to get first.

This sounds very interesting. If anyone feels like it, they can send a song over AIM or something.

This album is awesome but it really can't live up to there self titled..
I don't see the emo in it at all and I didn't really see to much death metal..it's there for sure but I just thought of them more as metalcore and maybe sometimes screamo

When I saw the Victory records commercial (the mortal-kombat one) I couldn't tell the difference between any of the bands including this one. Now that I listen to one of these guy's songs, my mind changed completely.

Simply amazing, almost on the level of Opeth.

I heard Mordecai and really liked it. But I was wondering do they growl a lot on this album?
