To me, this is ITM's worst release, because it's kind of like Maria Brink's training session. And that's why when I first bought this when it was released, I was highly disappointed. It's Maria's worst vocal performance (save a few exceptions, such as the AMAZING title track). Sonically, and instrumentally, it's outstanding. The guitar work is heavy when it needs to be, somber when it needs to be, along with the drumming. They find a great balance between the metalcore elements and the rock elements. Maria's voice would get a whole hell of a lot better. I recommend The Dream if you're looking to get into the band.

This is the only one I've listened to in full. I guess the second album is good too (I'm about to spin that actually). But the singles they've released in the past five or six years are just...I don't even know. They sold out for sure. They aren't a heavy band anymore.
