It's not totally my fault all this happened. I could not find the rules. They weren't easy to find. In fact, i still dont have the slightest clue as to where they are. Can somebody help me? I think if i knew where the rules are next time then this would clear all of this argument up. And know, it wasn't that i was lazy enough to not read the rules, it's that, I in fact could not find them. I'd appreciate if u fahgs stop going on about shiht and clear this up so this Forum doesnt go into a pointless argument amongst a bunch of fuhk heads.

BANISH HIM![/QUOTE]
First of all stfu. Have u even heard any of those bands i mentioned? If u have then u would kno they have the closest similar sound i could find out of many other bands. A jealousy issue has similar sound of course because the members of a J.I. were in PTW. ONly two members i think were in ptw. Anyways, the point is is that those two bands sound quite similar to ptw. I can see Killswitch engage not sounding like them. That one was carelessy thought of and typed down. but blindside have harsh and heavy screams like ptw except they are more poppy. poppy in terms of catchy easier to remember songs.

Well, first of all you had to read the general rules when you signed up. Then, the rules for this forum in particular are in a sticky thread at the top of the first page, titled oh-so-deceivingly CD Reviews Rules.

I wasn't going to have you banned, you hadn't quite done anything to deserve it, but now I have little choice.

Hey, I've heard all the bands you mentioned including A Jealousy Issue, and none of them sound remotely like PTW.

A Jealousy Issue sounds like Distance Makes... PTW cause it has one of the vocalists from Distance Makes... But as the original reviewer said, this CD is miles away from the EP.

This is a GREAT cd, too bad some idiot had to turn half the topic into an argument.
This album was my "gateway drug" into hardcore/metalcore music, and I'd definitely advise any fan of music to check it out.

This album was great. Kind of jumpstarted the whole merge of hardcore and metal.

I've noticed that PTW picks up new vocal tendencies each album. This album really broke into the melodic singing, Tear From the Red expanded the contrast further with oddly coloured notes (and of course the heartstopping "fuck you" in Horns and Tails), and You Come Before You brought in the half talking half screaming effect evident in Ghostchant and Apathy is a Cold Body.
Great review, just felt like throwing in something random about the band.

What's PTW's best? I really like some of their stuff, and want to look into them.
|
| |
You Come Before You is their best but it depends what songs you're into because You Come Before You is nothing like the metalcore of The Opposite Of December. It's more of a post-hardcore/metal album but like I said, it's their best. They're EP and first two LPs are metalcore though.

I love Poison The Well and I think that this album, along with You Come Before You, defines what all good bands should be like. By the way, I was laughing so much at Badreligiondude...and i am fifteen years old but i prefer to think that I am slightly more capable of posting comments which don't include crude and rather laughable insults. The original review was amazing. Great job!!
