Also cut the first 30ish and last 10 seconds off "Fly Trapped" and it'd be a 4/5

Modest Mouse 5/5s (as of now/when I trackrated the albums on RYM):
"Dramamine", "Breakthrough", "Custom Concern", "Talking Shit About a Pretty Sunset", "Teeth Like God's Shoeshine", "Cowboy Dan", "Trailer Trash", "Polar Opposites", "Bankrupt On Selling", "Stryofoam Boots", "Interstate 8", "Broke", "Baby Blue Sedan", "3rd Planet", "Gravity Rides Everything", "Dark Center of the Universe", "Tiny Cities Made of Ashes", "The Cold Part", "The Stars Are Projectors", "Lives", "Life Like Weeds", "Night on the Sun", "Ocean Breathes Salty", "Bukowski"
There are a handful more that are really close too, consider this a "conservative" list...incredible band. :-D

Spitting Venom is a definite 5 imo. Only song that is on this album.

Nice Boney, that’s a lot of 5s. Yes, you picked ‘Lives’ - essential tune.
Broke and Baby Blue Sedan are my favourites from the B-Side album.
Good picks.

Sputting Venom is the best song, agreed.
Album is the definition of slim pickings though

I'm maybe a bit looser with 5/5s than some but not too much. A few of those are more "5 in the context of the album" 5s, but either way this band has written a ton of incredible tunes. If you sum it all up there are probably only a handful of other artists I'd give that many 5s or more.

I agree with many of those 5s Boney, but not all. No Edit the Sad Parts?
A few that are missing imo: Doin the Cockroach, Beachside Property, Ohio, Heart Cooks Brain, Whenever I Breathe Out, Other People’s Lives, The World at Large, The View. But your list is solid, there are just some I don’t consider 5s.
As far as Strangers to Ourselves goes, there are some great 4/4.5 songs (Lampshades on Fire, Shit in Your Cut, The Ground Walks, Coyotes, The Best Room, Of Course We Know), but I’m not sure that any of them are 5s. Coyotes and The Best Room would be closest.

Ground Walks is a guilty pleasure 5 for me - the intro goes in hard

Larkin - haven't heard "Edit the Sad Parts".
As for the others, most of those are 4.5/5 for me so I can't really argue with you there. In fact "Cockroach" should probably be on my list too, and "World At Large" is close too. I'm not huge on "Beachside Property" or "The View" though.

Boney, definitely check out Edit the Sad Parts. One of their best songs imo.

Literally the only tracks I would add to that list are Cockroach and World is Large (already mentioned) and One Chance, which I have a huge sweet spot for. And maybe Exit Does Not Exist...
Agreed on Beachside and the View being meh

Damn man no love for Beachside Property? Tsk tsk. One Chance never really caught on with me but I love Exit.

I kinda get why people love Beachside but that outro jam drags like hell for me. I have quite specific time/place memories for One Chance and absolutely adore the box-in-a-cage bridge, but I guess it's a fairly standard Good News track at the end of the day

Little Motel is fairly cheesy (but damnit if the video isn’t effective as hell), but it’s such a great song. Emotionally powered. Very underrated MM song — as is this album in general. Spitting Venom is probably top 5 MM.
