Fan boy?? Sorry, do you even know me? This is the only 5 i have given so far out of the 40 albums i have reviewed. I have also given the other FATA albums pretty average marks so i can assure you it's nothing to do with being a "fan boy".

Music is all a matter of opinion people, nothing less nothing more. You can have PHD's, be clasiccaly trained at grade 8 and beyond, but no one can dictate what another likes, and what is deemed ''good'' to one person and not to another. I know that popular culture and the media decide a lot of what everyone listens to (im not excluding myself from this, and im certainly not excluding the wanna - be elitists posting on this thread), but you shouldnt trash someones taste or opinion, just because you dont agree. Doesnt matter what music you like, how much you like, or how varied, however much music you do or dont listen to, you can only like what your exposed to. There, I feel better now.

As for the band, I have recently purchased the album and have found it quite enjoyable to listen to, it sounds more like what I WANT Coheed and Cambria to sound like. Good melodies, good musicianship, good harmonies, still trying to accept some of the vocals, however, I do really like the end of the album.

Peace!

LOL @ dfelon's comments, it's pretty true, I remember when i bought this based o short stories, and it came packaged with "To Forever Embrace the Sun..." by Skycamefalling, and i think i listened to this album maybe once because i was enthralled with how much better skycamefalling was.

TL,DR: average band, one really good song, they shouldn't have done that buy one get one free deal with skycamefalling lol

Did you ever look, did you ever see that one person?
and the subtle way that they do these things and it hurts so much?

I do love the hell out of Capeside Rock but I find myself going right for The Switch lately when I listen to this. Underrated band. Reminds me of 8th grade.
