Just un-5'd this. I'm pretty sure this was the only album I ever insta-5'd, but it hasn't hit me as hard on subsequent listens. The sound clips kind of get old after a while. Images and Words forever my one true love with this band.

Some weeks ago I also wanted to know if this still holds up as classic for me so I spun the vinyl from beginning to end. I couldn’t bring myself to get off the 5, this still brings the magic for me.

Someone was busking The Spirit Carries On on the subway the other day, really bizarre surprise

Anyone here seen DT recently? When they played Metropolis pt 2 in entirety? How was it? I'm thinking of buying tickets.

It was awesome! I mean, Labrie was Labrie, but everyone else was on fucking point. The only downside (if you can call it that) was they played Pull Me Under as the encore and not Metropolis 1.

metropolis pt 1 is their best song but pull me under is pretty good. granted if I saw them live and they didn't play metro 1 i'd be pretty bummed.

Supposedly they've gotten tired of playing Metro1 as the encore which is why they switched to Pull Me Under, which kind of makes sense but at the same time, they were playing Metropolis 2 in its entirety so why not throw in the song that started it all?

ok i can see that considering images and words came out like more than 20 years ago. I probs will never see them live anyways unless they tour with someone I really want to see.

I agree Metropolis pt 1 absolutely rules and it would make more sense. Either one works for me since I'll just be happy to hear some I&W. I'm not sure what my favorite DT song is, but yeah probably Metropolis pt 1 or Change of Seasons.
