Reroute To Remain almost made me cry. In my opinion, it is one of my all time worst albums. This one's not bad, good to hear what IF was like in their really early stages (having Mikael Stanne on vocals never hurts, plus he writes awesome lyrics =D) Good review.This Message Edited On 07.21.07

I really like this album, a whole more than any of the albums they have done with Anders on vocals. That's just me though.

This is my favorite in flames album, with subterrrenean being a close second. They could've stopped after that and the world would be a much nicer place.

Top 3 will always be "Jester Race" "Whoracle" & "Colony".

This album really isn't that great. This is far more bland than the four albums they made after this one with tons of filler and this is by far Mikael's worst vocal performance (contrary to many I prefer Anders' vocals although I like Stanne with DT). I think Anders is better for In Flames and Stanne is better for DT.
This album is very inconsistent and rather sloppy and they developed and refined their sound so much more for TJR. Don't get me wrong. This album isn't bad. It's rather decent especially for its time. But their next few albums were definitely stronger.

I still think the instrumentation is pretty good, but yeah, i don't care for both Everlost tracks, Hargalaten, and Clad In Shadows still. In Flames (the track) and Upon an Oaken Throne still own, however.
