They are a better band period, but these guys are quite enjoyable none the less, and the breakdowns are actually Death Metal breakdowns, if there is such a thing.

Lol at better than Necrophagist. Origins drummer is way, way better and doesn't the drummer for BTM trigger his snare aswell as his bass drum?

these guys are HORRIBLE and even worse live. their breakdowns were ridiculously stupid, simple, and for the most part unnecessary. saw them with gojira, JfaC, and Behemoth. all 3 blew BtM out of the water.

Maybe they were bad live because there's one guitarist playing two parts, and both of them are insanely wanky

lol that's what i was thinking. good luck playing like a 7/4 rhythm with odd fingering shapes (i.e. like necrophagist) and strange chords and then adding extremely fast sweeping and shred solos randomly in the middle of some of said rhythm sections. good luck playing both of those correctly during a show.

Muhammed pretty much played flawlessly when I saw them. But then again, I don't think he's human.

Muhammed's stuff isn't as fast as this and he has another guitarist to alternate parts with.

He can still hit his notes flawlessly.

I agree that the breakdowns are somewhat weak and/or pathetic but I don't know I didn't mind them. But you're right Cocaine they're redicuously fast and technical but that doesn't mean anything unless their song's aren't good.

But I think this band has alot of potential.

I saw these guys live and they were amazing. . . . the breakdowns aren't exactly great... i just look at them as a break from the rest of the song......some people were talking about how there generic and sound like other bands....please name a few cause i want to here this for myself.

Uhh... Shattered, your idiocy is showing. You think this is great and Underoath sucks, go hang yourself.

I don't see what the two have to do with each other so I don't see why it matters. Underoath is gay anyway.
