Yeah Fast Fingers I know what you mean. I still think "Fashion Tips, Baby" is their best song and that's about 1:30.

I just can;t stand when a band abuses a great part by playing it too many times. It gets boring. I personally think FBtMoF could have recorded half as many songs each about half as long as they are now and use all the parts on the entire album which would have made this a brilliant album. of course, it would've been like 12 minutes long but in my world, 12 minutes is long enough for an album if the music is good.

Yeah, I didn't like how on both "See You In The Shallows" and "Consequences...," they go back and play the main riff one more time. "See You In The Shallows" feels like it should end with the half note open chord part and "Consequences..." feels like it should end with that clean riff.

Anyway, I think I actually like this more than OHPS. OHPS had the more raw emotion but this album just destroys with the technicality and darker and heavier feel.

when i saw FBTMOF last night biggest mistake they made was not opening with fashion tips, baby, its an amazing opening song IMO, i think it would of helped cus they just didnt seem to have much entertaining quality and alot of ppl seemed uninterested.

This band's name is too long?

How about The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza. Or Bodies In The Gears Of The Apparatus.

I heard they suck live but have an amazing live show, especially the lights. It was them or From a Second Story Window or Fear Before the Firing Squad.

idk, i wouldn't really consider this metalcore but w/e.
it's got a thrash-ish feel to it.

FBTMOF have a great many interesting vareitns in then, imo. Guitar riffs are original and tasteful. Agreed with cbmartinez, this has a much darker feel than OHPS. Great stuff.

I reckon this album sounds more like botch or converge.
which can be a good thing in some respects.
i brought both of the FBTMOF albums at the same time and still cant decide which i find more appealing personally.
I guess i like this one more, its more brutal and surpricingly catchy.

Eh, everyone I talk to thinks that FBTMOF jumped onto the whole math metal bandwagon with bands like botch and converge on Art Damage and that OHPS was original....But now I see OHPS as a generic emo record and Art Damage as highly original. The new album should be gold.

Am I the only one who likes Art Damage better than OHPS?

The Story Of The Curious Oysters is a sick song.
