Album Rating: 2.5
A shitty, sold-out, downgraded, banal, screamo nu-core shit. A disgrace to the genre of melodic death metal, really.

Rejection Role is a damn good song.

Speed's vocals are the worst part of this album. The instrumental part is not far behind though. I mean they never really were outstanding, but TCM had some pretty good riffs, harmonies, solos and stuff. This is just so watered-down that In Flames pale in comparison (and that's saying something)

You mean this pales in comparison to In Flames i'm assuming.

In Flames really aren't watered down if to exclude ASOP. I do agree that Speed is SUCH a shitty vocalist though.
|
| |
Yeah I meant ASOP for the most part. CC was really average imo, but it had its moments
No bodom, it's the other way round really (ASOP is still "better" (well, if you call my 1.5/5 for it a good score) than this)

love this album

yeah i'm pretty sure if something pales in comparison to something else it's much worse than it...so in that case Soilwork pale in comparison to In Flames

I hate this fucking album. Departure Plan is the absolute epitome of selloutness. Soilwork hasn't sunk this low since.

Many of the other songs are kinda good though. I'm getting more into this band lately and appreciating their various works more and more. This album comes last, though.

This is so much better than Sworn To A Great Divide. That album is fucking garbage

It's a pretty good album. Not as solid as the last four but still nice.
Rejection role is one of my favorite Soilwork songs though.
Just changed my rating to a 3.5
It was better than i remembered it to be.

Soilwork has so much groove in their songs, and this really shows it. A perfect album with no sense of failing whatsoever (unless if melodic death metal isn't your thing).

Don't think I ever heard this one.
