i think the reason why I love this is because it was my first DT album, this bands material was hard to get in the early 2000's, i bought this CD on a whim and it was one of the best random discoveries of my life, Buried In Oblivion is probably my #1 best random find but this is really close

Dunno how an album this good is allowed to exist in this dimension and on this planet. This album and Character single handedly make DT my favorite metal band of all time. Still love the rest of their stuff but I wouldn’t even need it to feel like they have achieved god tier status (if that makes any sense).

This album blew me away when I heard it. Following on the evolving coattails of Projector and Haven, I did not expect them to just drop such a beast of an album from start to finish. It's like out of nowhere there were reinvigorated to write arguably their best material six albums into their already incredible career.
