I'm going to be honest here and say I think this album is a bit overrated. Reign in Blood is front-loaded with an awesome track, and end-loaded with one of, if not the best, thrash songs ever recorded. The entire record is fast and furious, but to me it just isn't as memorable.
Out of their first five albums, which I all consider classics, this one is the least memorable to me. And no it isn't a grower, Slayer is one of my favorite bands and I've listened to these albums thousands of times over twenty years.

lol. I've done a good bit of my life behind bars, and had a lot of other shit going on. There's a lot of albums I haven't heard, and I'm catching up on them now. As heavy as I am into wargaming, and as many friends I have that are crazy about warhammer 40k, I find it totally surprising I have never heard of Bolt Thrower. But hey, that's one of the cool things about life. New shit to learn every day.
