terrible band i mean i have no idea how any of this can sound good to anyone. religion means nothing to me so i could care less if they are christian. they just play shitty music. they riffs are rehashed and not done well at all. the drummer has absolutely no talent.the vocalsist does have an okay range in his vocals. the clean vocals by the guitarists aren't too bad either. the keyboards don't do anything for me and i am a huge sucker for bands with keyboards.

I dont think the guitarists are extremely talented from what Ive heard, but in a watered down metal industry..this band is fresh music to me. I enjoy the three or four songs Ive heard on myspace.

And I can only laugh at posts like "christian lyrics are off-putting"...but I like to see people who will set aside what the band believes and gives their music a fair chance to the same standards they hold every other band. It doesn't matter what "religion" they are...as long as the lyrics are well-though-out, clever, thought provoking, heart felt, sincere lyrics..then theyre good.

The lyrics are none of those things. Lyrics are important and if there about God then the music better be damn good to make up for it.

If Prussian Blue were actually good would you look past their songs being about eugenics and other Hitler inspired topics, i doubt it. A bands message in their lyrics is as important as the music to some people.

I totally agree with you...a bands message in the their lyrics IS as important as the music. But there are loads of christian bands that write lyrics that are extremely unoriginal..I dont wanna see bands writing cliche, already-been-done lyrics. I enjoy personal, clever, and thought provoking lyrics that reel you into the song...but that could just be me.This Message Edited On 02.10.07

i think what they are doing is something new...

at least of the "Christian Metalcore" genre

their stand on their faith is something thats almost completely unheard of in the underground emo-esque metal scene... and their lyrics are a testament to that cause they arent afraid to tell every scene kid in their audience about their faith

whether you're christian or not that should be something thats respectable

but i know that there are people that once they hear the word "christian" or "we love jesus" they throw the bird and walk out

now as for their music, i completely agree that they are definately not anything extraordinary but its by no means horrible

the breakdowns in Rosemary Had an Accident is prty intense and Gaunlets of Solitude is a fairly decent song... Dogs Can Grow Beards is overrated and Texas Is South jus plain sux though...

Mikes vocals, i think, are very original though... either that or i havent heard anything that sounds like his... thats the one thing that will make TDWP successful in the long run

"emo-esque" (for lack of better words) in the sense of bands with tight pants, disheveled haircuts, and high school kids...

not that thats a bad thing of course

Holy goodness, there's a war going on in here. Well okay, maybe not a war, but I'm seriously lost. Everyone's opinion is different. And...I feel like I should check out this band, though I haven't. Tell me something, if I like IKTPQ and Parkway Drive, will I like this to an acceptable extent?

Hey Redice i absolutely love Parkway Drive and i thought IKTPQ was pretty cool so yes i think you should check these guys out. i like these guys they play some good metalcore the vocalist has a nice range and the keyboard gives the music a nice atmosphere. i think these guys get a bad rap for their name, image, and faith but i like em songs i advise you check out would be Swords, Dragons, and Diet Coke, Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over and As The Sentence Trails Off...

i love devil wears prada.
Haha i think im the only one here so far that has said that.

yeah redice if you like parkway you will most likely like them.
they arent nearly as technical its mostly hardcore breakdowns, guitar riffs backed by keys, and really progressive song structure.

they remind me a little bit of horse the band

Wow, this album blew me away. Actually, their style is similar to that of Beneath The Sky. Heck, the vocals sound practically identical.
