nice review. this is definitely the most overrated album of all time. none of the other songs match up to number of the beast, run to the hills, and hallowed be thy name. if you want to hear true maiden power, get powerslave.

Finally! This album is easily the most overrated rock/metal record of all time. I mean obviously the title track and Run For The Hills are classics but come on, the MAJORITY of the album is filler!

this album is good but i have to kind of agree. maiden have always been and always will be my all time fav band but this album is nothing compared to most of their other stuff espessially their 80's stuff. i do like invaders though. total eclipse is also a beast and children... is a maiden classic. the three classic tracks are also good but im quite sick of run to the hills and TNOTB

Unfair way of looking at the album, IMO. Yes, Invaders' lyrics seem bad in comparison to Run To The Hills', but which song comes first on the album? It's not like everyone (although there are some people, sure) hears the 3 classics first, then hears the rest of the album.
