It sort of frustrates me that they don't stick to the pop stuff. The other stuff is great as well, but it gets a bit boring, and Olivia Tremor Control could make the most entertaining album of recent memory if they wanted to.

I've heard this and The Apples in Stero and both are great bands, however this band is slightly better than Apples.

some days i prefer black foliage over this but other days its the other way around. this has better individual songs i think, but on the other album the band's experimentation is more balanced and the album feels more complete overall. If I ever 5'd one someday in the future I'm not really sure which it would be

actually the first album that came to my mind was The White Album, the experimental tracks like all the Green Typewriters mixed up with more classical songs (Jumping Fences and NYC-25).
