Yeah, Jane Doe and Protestant are big contenders for me. It's hard to say there's a "best" anything.

You Fail Me has been in my rotation for a surprising amount of time, that album is amazing

TBH I probably would've 3'd this by now if people didn't act like it was the most important album of the last 50 years

my rating's not influenced by any of that I just really didn't like it, but also only listened to it in full once and should revisit

Oh yeah, this album is probably better than any song in the "m*talcore" I've heard

Then again, I hate extreme metal so uhhhh idk

sooooo uhhhh...Cocteau Twins are amazing and "Musette and Drums" by them came up in shuffle good song, Head Over Heels is underrated

I have that one 3.5'd. I like it for sure, but it has a similar problem to Spleen and Ideal where the lyricless tracks often sound like they lack identity... well except The Fatal Impact, love that one

Within the Realm of a Dying Sun is my fave of their 3 I've heard... in fact it's a 5

It's pretty different

It's "classical" but with goth vocals, odd combo but it works

Ride and Slowdive are both infinitely better songwriters than MBV, let's be honest.
