signals is def poppier and more accessible but also the superior record when it comes down to it i think. there's some good stuff scattered through the rest of their discog but hardly anything i'll ever just want to play

Yeh, Signals, Calls, and Marches is great, agreed. My favourite by them for sure.
I read somewhere that when the band played live after releasing Signals, they confused the shit out of the crowd who were expecting the cleaner sound that was on the EP.
