The first two tracks on this, and the way they just glide together, is honeslty one of the most gorgeous pieces or art, in any medium, that has ever existed.

This also has one of their greatest underrated songs, Muzzle. That should have been a massive single.

Confirmed, Muzzle feels gooooood.

I made the mistake of mentioning this album on someone's FB. Turns out Corgan is a whiny conservative Trump supporter etc. and I should feel bad.

Jeez.

I don't believe you in the Alex Jones interviews he sounds like an authentic left wing person.

lol you don't believe me?

You're an amazing guy, rod, and 99% of the time you are so right. But I'll quote a bit of it for your benefit:

"Billy Corgan’s conservative douche-baggery has turned me off forever. Plus, he’s always been a whiny little bitch."

The problem here is using artists as a backup for a personal identity, something Titan was quick to do as well. Fucking merikans amirite?

egarran dude im very happy for you that you have all the answers....and im also a very proud american as well, wouldn't trade it for door #2, ever - my life is amazing

and speaking of whiny little bitches and douche-baggery tendencies, quit being an angry little bitch and enjoy the tunes

Muzzle was the 6th single that never was - it was sent around as a "promo single" but never quite made it to Aeroplane box-set status so you dudes are onto something there

Also of note: Billy had wanted "Jellybelly" to be the first single from this album

I apologize for the confusion. My point was that an artist's identity should not play a role in the appreciation of art.

And it DEFINITELY should not play a role in your own self-esteem. That is a road to doom and defeat lemmetellya.

Titan, you say you like Corgan because he shares some political views with you. That doesn't mean you don't listen to leftist bands, I suppose.

is that really what i said, or was it more of a backhanded comment?

To answer your question, any band or artists political views, should i agree with them or not, should be kept to themselves in my opinion. Are there artists out there that have a tainted influence on me because of their need to aggressively express themselves politically, the answer is yes.

Even if his political affiliation agreed with mine, I would enjoy him more because he is a Rush fanatic, my favorite band. I could care less what side an artist leans towards, but my ultimate preference would be to not know at all.
