I must say Cannibal Corpse is fucking solid. All their albums are at least good and with songs like "Frantic Disembowelment" they really put some of their peers to shame. Definitely prefer their Corpsegrinder material and i think this album is one of their best from his era so far

I've always been a big fan of Cannibal Corpse. You know what to expect and they are actually really technical. Throw in the gore and you have a wicked band to headbang to. I'm torn between the Barnes and Corpsegrinder eras, I have a soft spot for Butchered and Tomb.

Barnes was pretty damn good with Cannibal Corpse, at least what from what I've heard. Too bad Six Feet Under sucks ass. Even though Barnes is on my favorite CC album, I'd still have to say I like Corpsegrinder better overall.

My goodness, is this album fun! Not only are the riffs amazingly catchy and headbangable, but also the lyrics... I used to be unable to appreciate the poetic beauty of titles like "Severed Head Stoning", but lately I've been reading a lot about serial killers so these themes have become considerably more endearing to me. Perhaps that's why I've come to appreciate Cannibal Corpse and "The Wretched Spawn" in particular... - the band that I used to be unable to listen to for a whole album at once now I can listen to for a few and still want more. It's all in the mindset I guess!

Cannibal Corpse doesn't suck per-se, I've only heard their 4 latest offerings. However I can say I didn't like a single one of
those albums, save maybe for some moments off of Torture.
But ye, boring album by a boring band.

I kinda dug Bloodthirst, and I'm gonna spin Gore Obsessed this afternoon, I've heard (and from what little I've heard myself) that album at least has some creative moments that at least try in wiggle out of the rigidity of the CC mold.
