This cd was a fun listen for while...but it's pretty damn generic.

I bought the album after hearing Face Down, and just feeling like a new band. I had no expectations for them whatsoever, I even forgot that we had ordered them until I received it in the mail a few days later. I gave it to my dad, and he fell in love with it at first listen. At first I couldn't sink my teeth into the heavy-ish punk sound, that mixed so many genres. But after I gave it a chance, I fell in love with it. To this day they're still the only band that can really make me feel a massive range of emotions, without having to sit down in a room and listen to them for hours. Ronnie has an amazing voice, and the band works together perfectly.

Face Down is catchy. Since i'm all out in the open now I have no shame for listening to it time to time. I haven't heard the rest and i'm not sure I will.

Everyones allowed a few guilty pleasures in music, and fuck it, this band are one of mine.

It fun, catchy and has great vocals...its generic, but who cares...fav track is the hidden track, which is actually pretty epic, and very different from the rest of the album.

Face Down was good for a mainstream single, the album is one you really have to TRY to like and that's where it fails.
It's catchy and all, but you won't care if you never hear it again, and blah, blah blah.................. It's boring to talk about

The band is okay and can really push out some nice tunes but on the down side they are highly Christian which in my opinion is a downfall yet they dont express the whole God thing in their songs. However after a while it can grow a tad repetitive

Your Guardian Angel, cheesy emotional lyrics aside (unless you like that stuff), is actually a really good song IMO. If you utterly hate it, I have to think you're blinded by your own douchebaggery, at least a little bit.

The rest is pretty crappy.

good review. however I saw RJA live and i must say dont bother...ronnie's screaming sucks as well as his singing...his range is not nearly is as good and often brings the songs down a whole octave

Your Guardian Angel does, indeed, rule. I liked Face Down in like 7th Grade but I've grown to hate it since.
