because he's locked in a toilet cubicle and accidentally pulled out his headphones from their socket on full volume filling it with a relentless tinny noise he's desperately struggling to stop while jabbering with frustration as the shit trickles down his legs?

the last song earned this an extra 0.5 - I used to think I just hated the Death Grips vox but then occasionally it all falls into place
it's just such a rare occurence

Just amazes me how these guys have put out seven albums in six years and have not become stale at all. You'd think with their style they would have ran out of ideas like three albums ago, but every album sounds considerably different and fresh as fuck, only time they have ever missed imo was Government Plates.

I think with this one in particular, it's the sound becoming more refined - there is always the chance that it's gonna go overboard and alienate the listener, which I think it did to some degree on Government Plates, and a couple of times on No Love... but like I said in the review, the fact that it has become so much more accessible is really making me come back to this again and again.
It's now just a struggle taking this off and diverting my attention to the Radiohead album!

I really think the opener and closer are like the perfect bookends.
