I really think that most people are more concerned with the art than the music itself

It takes a dumb, uneducated moron to bring up an issue that doesn't exist and totally fuck up the awesome vibe of being a perv and listening to metal at the same time :p.

I am by no means speaking for an entire community when I say this (just for myself), but as a trans woman the artwork doesn't bother me at all. It looks more like she hooked up with the cenobites from Hellbound Heart than really insidious. Sure, the whole thing with the rope through her right arm is kinda weird, but other than that it just looks like super kinky happenings.

Still need to check this. My laptop has been a royal pain lately so I have to use my phone to stream now.

And I sincerely applaud your level of intelligence and maturity towards such grotesque artwork (no sarcasm at all).

But why is it that one guy or girl will take such offense to something that can be interpreted in many different ways? This is what offends me the most on earth; the people who feel they must make an uproar over something so harmless that's just an artistic expression and can simply be ignored. It's not like we live under a fascist flag where we're all going to start violence towards transgender people or even hate on people whose sexuality is different than mine. I think we're all a little bit more intelligent than that and when someone proposes the idea of something hateful within artwork, I feel they're already jumping the gun and placing the idea of hatred inside minds of others (whose the hatred one now?). It's also a condescending way of looking at art as well saying we're all brainwashed and don't see the image "for what it really means" (eye-roll please).

It's like my daughter whose 6 and goes to school and celebrates a day of anti-racism. The fact she has no idea what racism means and yet is being taught that racism exists is like planting the idea in the mind (total backwards logic and helps manifest a problem that could go away if we're to never have the stupid day to begin with). Now she will most likely walk around with the idea that there is indeed a difference between people with all types of skin colour. The same goes for artwork like this. I honestly thought to myself, "hey, that's some pretty disturbing artwork and suits the music" and leave it to some fuckhead to come in and claim violence or hate towards the transgender community when I never had that thought to begin with. Thanks ya fucker!

Fuck, just another sign of how unintelligent this world is becoming.

Have you ever watched Idiocracy? A lot of truth happening from that movie!

Wizard, keep in mind that relative to how many people in the world that are transgender, there are still many murders each year (and quite a few of these murders are by friends or family members). That doesn't make it right to react to artwork like this, but I do understand it. It doesn't help when people comment on it about how disgusting it is that she has a penis (not that she is sewing onto her face or has a rope coming out of her arm).

It is a natural reaction to take offense, not premeditated. The problem is that we live in an era where everyone takes offense to everything. I mean, how oscar noms of the last few years haven't been bogged down with controversy over their subject matter? It does feel like we are conditioning ourselves to be quicker to take offense. I try to keep a level head and stick what I know hurts me.

This is getting a little out of hand, anyway the music is awesome, definitely reminds me of Indian in some respect.

^ Vocalist from Indian is basically another member of the band, he also features on Negative Birth.

"This is getting a little out of hand" A logical, peaceful discussion is "out of hand". That'll be the day.
