i think the argument is "less heavy". just because there are plenty of things that are more frequently associated with heaviness, doesn't mean that Y&G can't be "less heavy" than Red. I haven't listened to this yet though. Was listening to the stream for like 5 mins yesterday then accidently x'd out the window. said fuck it.

I don't have a problem with the vocals not being as "harsh" as they were before, what I do have a problem with is Jon's cleans being rather weak (Peter's are better). Also, not to mention that he's been replacing his harsh vocals live on songs that have them with cleans, and it just sounds bad and out of place.
