That's a bummer of a statement. The new guys can fuck off, but I can cut him some slack for being heavily invested in the band despite Tim and his bullshit. I hope he brings his writing to a new project in the not too distant future, because very few bands are left to scratch this particular itch.

Phil was always the realest and I truly do feel bad for him. Solid af dude and an absolute riff machine to boot, really wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
He really should join Saosin as a full time member and help them with some ideas for a new record. Would be awesome actually.

Sad. When I was a teen I fist bumped him during the show and I was absolutely elated. Even had their documentary from around 2008. Super cool documentary actually. Very disappointing from that perspective that he can't stay on the straight and narrow :/
