i don't agree - it sounds totally neutered. i'm surprised you think it sounds anything like this - try them side by side cus they're worlds apart. drums have zero impact, guitar is barely even there, songwriting wise it is so by the numbers for them with zero surprises or twists. it's just a total nothing burger of a song.



like when the drums came in about a minute in i audibly said "what the fuck?" cus they just sound so stupid. the bass drums sound like a subwoofer with intermittent cable issues and the rest of the kit is utterly sucked of impact and energy - the song falls apart so quickly because it sounds so tepid. that's without talking about how the guitar is thin and the bass sounds like he's playing an ebow rather than strumming just cus of the mixing - i'd be able to forgive this if the songwriting was good but it is so stock.
