I think Time Will Die beats them all but Grievances is definitely my second favorite, followed by Myth. I’m gonna be honest I don’t really love their first three records, like, they’re fine but they really stepped it up with Grievances, like to the point where it’s almost easy to forget it’s the same band.
I was going through their discography the other day and I legit forgot they had three full albums before Grievances. I literally thought that it was like, their second record.

Debut is the only one that is a bit meh at times imo, but even that one is still really good.

Maybe I’ll give Cosmology and Astraea another shot separately. I literally listened to the first three back to back to back so I was just mentally exhausted by the end of it and wanted it to be over.
Idk there’s just something about like, “regular” mathcore that I just don’t fuck with. Like yeah, the technical proficiency is impressive but you guys got literally nothing going for you aside from that. Tbh it’s how I feel about the first Callous Daoboys record too.

I listened to this twice earlier and couldn't escape the idea of it being a streamlined Spiritboxing of their sound. I wanted to be mistaken but it looks like a lot of you had similar comparisons, lol
look, it's an EP and sometimes the direction these things take don't always align with a band's wider work, but I really do hope this isn't a sign of things to come. It feels like a rather bland 'progression' thus far

Rolo's full lengths (almost) increase in quality in impressively linear fashion (distinction of EP/LP certainly now required, unfortunately)

Yeah I totally agree with that up until Time Will Die, they got better and better with every record.
