Repeat listens reveal that there's not quite as much substance on tap as I thought initially. It's still a fantastic album with Willow. Establishing a unique voice in the scene and symptom of Life is easily the best song I've heard this year so far.

7/12 fantastic songs is lots of substance
I wish Down and No Words 1 & 2 were longer, that's about it

“7/12 fantastic songs” sounds about right lol, and idk on repeat listens I think the pop elements really shine, dont see this falling off for me anytime soon

Never dug anything she’s done before but this is a huge step up for me, symptom of life is genuinely pretty sick
Just glad Travis Barker is not all over this and she moved away from the pop punk revival sound

iirc smurkin, willow stated in a recent interview that two of her biggest influences for this album were HK and st. vincent. Good observation, I definitely feel it too

Interesting well big up for willow
Not that I really care about this in music but it's cool she's making shit that's a bit unusual rather than just lazily banking on her name recognition
