The first few songs were passable, as I remember thinking "this is good by 5FDP standards." Then the rest of the album quickly got worse. God I hate this band.

The most frustrating thing about this band is that they have the technical side of things down to a T. They're very capable of writing good shit and playing it well, but they've been stagnating 100% since 2012 or so.
I think the breaking point for them was when they fully leaned into the right-wing military pandering image, which was around 2014 when "Wrong Side of Heaven" became their biggest hit.
