Man I love this band. I'm going through a break up of a 10 year relationship, and it is so hard and so painful. But, I still have Smith Street. I can't wait for their new album on Friday. "I still dream about you" is so good. They've helped me through some hard times

"I'm going through a break up of a 10 year relationship" -- Goddamnit, that sucks... Be well, man, let us know what you think when the new album is out. Excited to hear a studio version of It's OK That You Don't Love Me Anymore.

Thanks guys. The reality that I won't see her again hurts so bad, and makes me cry thinking about it, but I have a good family and friends so I'll make it through. I just have to embrace the pain in the meantime.

looks like lee confirmed in facebook Q&A last night that there most likely wont be a second album this year, especially given how the semi-lockdown restrictions have kinda put a wrench in things. never know maybe they'll rush somethin out once things get back to normal but nah not countin on it

anyway acoustic set #2 is beaut https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bw5DbdZtqps

I'll tell you you were right when you said I'd end up lonely
And I'll tell you that my life didn't crack up to what I'd liked it to have been
And I'll stand up to say something, fall straight back in my seat
And you will check your watch
And say it's probably time for you to leave

Dont waste your anger didnt hit the way every other album by them has. A bit concerning. I have no want or need to revisit it when all their other albums exist.
