Alright thanks man. First impressions usually aren't that great, so I'll give em another spin here soon.

Yeah, try their website or Limewire and get some of their older stuff.

I've heard of these guys but have never really listened to them. I know that their singer was in Lock Up and I must say when I heard him on there I wasn't particularly impressed. Does he sound any different on these albums?

He's awesome on Cancer of the Soul. Heard a bit of Hypocrisy - good but Im not inclined to take them up as my new gods or anything. This Message Edited On 07.21.06

"Warpath" is a sick song, but I heard from fellow metalheads that this was actually one of there weakiest albums, if it is I can't wait to hear the others

3 = Good, if im not mistaken...It was pretty good, i mean Ive heard better..."Warpath" and "Thousand Lies" are my favorite songs by them on this album...the lack of solos is why I don't love it...also Im are tough judger

Listen to their self-titled then. Although I can hear several solos on this album and they are all pointed out in the handbook as well.

I still enjoy this album though. I'm just a solo nut and require them to be in every song for my enjoyment to be fully complete.

I find this ironic, only three songs don't have solos (not counting XIV)

He probably wants a long solo with probably a bridge, a short 5 to 10 sec solo I barly count it as one.

Ok...I found the solo in "Warpath" its very basic and its between 2:30 - 2:44.This Message Edited On 10.08.06

Yea, what Pebster said. The solo that Gary Holt does on "Scrutinized" is what I'm talking about; pure shredness.

Nice review man. Certainly have me intrigued. So, should I start off with this album or something else?

^^ Start off with either this or their S/t. If you like it heavier start with this or The Final Chapter. If you like it more melodic yet still brutal start with the s/t or this. Either way you can't lose.

Alright, thanks a lot. I'll definitely be giving this a shot. Sounds like my kind of thing.
