Damn Jeet throwing haymakers haha. I wouldn’t go that far but it’s top tier for sure. Band does really good closers though In my opinion

In general I feel like most of their newer stuff gets way more hate than it deserves. Like all of their albums are remarkably consistent for me

Couldn’t agree more. Adore this band

I do however really dislike the compressed production on this. The sampled drums are sadly now a ABR staple. Does ruin the record for me quite a bit, although there are some killer tracks. Another thing that really bugs me is how shoe-horned some of the 'happy solos' are here, like in King of Sorrow

Their happy solos are indeed the worst part of the modern band for me haha

im assuming yall are talking about their modulations from minor to major keys in which i mostly agree outside of the back half of the cleansing, but i think that works because they commit to it much more. on king of sorrow its def a bit corny lol

Yeah, I think on the previous two records they usually had lyrics / emotions go along with it, or they build up to it in some shape or form.

One of my most disliked ones that I just recently discussed in the Leveler thread with Emim is the outro leads to Cutting the Ties. Borderline ruins the song and I love that song so much
