I have the same problem w Cole as I do w someone like Lupe Fiasco. They are clearly good rappers but their delivery and beat selection just don’t land as a total product. Imo you need more than just bars to stand out in hip hop as a whole
Drake hasn’t been good in over 10 years but his early run is better than anything he has ever dropped.
