Nice review, well written. I just got around to this (finishing up my backlog of '15) and man, it's distinctly Chemical Brothers. What a breathe of fresh air. Almost invigorating, and I was never a huge fan, yet their style is their own. That deep big beat techno aspect within their musicianship that really doesn't feel like it owes that much to its roots because it sounds so far gone from its sources. It is well executed though, they've managed to incorporate more modern elements within this one without diluting and shaming their own sound.

Go is a kickass track for sure. And I'm totally digging the Wide Open video:

It's mesmerizing somehow...

I feel like someone gotta enjoy this, but not me, unfortunately. It has to be taken in on the dance floor, apparently, otherwise it just sounds bland.

if governments were ever in possession of extraterrestrial technology would they exploit it to stage a fake alien invasion for political ends? would we pose the question? would we even be able to??
