This is my favorite live DVD ever. Their performance of "Insanity's Crescendo" is incredible, truly a classic song.

The sound is fantastic, really dark and heavy. And the older songs sound revitalised like Crescendo, and Lethe. The piano on Lethe is stunning

Sucks that they re-recorded a few of the guitar parts. But I guess that's standard for DVDs

Live performances of older tracks are always affected in some way by the style the band is playing at the time. The riffs are played in a different way, keyboards are added, cadences change, but honestly that is part of the live experience. Here nothing is really affected negatively.

I love how the instruments sound, but I was referring to the fact that they did post production overdubbing on a few guitar parts to cover up their fuck ups.

I love the way it sounds though. The band's production has been really good for a while now

Was not aware of that. Not entirely surprised though, since everything sounded spot-on.

@Crysis: Yeah I noticed it on some parts, but that's pretty much standard a live DVD practice now.

@necro Yeah and it sounds fucking delicious. I like it better than the original

Man the setlist for this show is near perfect. Only thing that's missing is some songs from Skydancer. Kinda sad they never play any songs from it.

Think ill need to give this a go, set looks like a greatest hits up to that point for them.

Rewatched this fairly recently, still an amazing concert. Would be a GOATed concert if they played some Skydancer stuff.
