Never heard a song of these guys before but my gf took me to one of their shows here last week. They were tight live. Went on Spotify to give them a listen and it’s ok. Feeling a light 3 for this. Some good songs, catchy choruses but other than that it’s nothing groundbreaking.

This band's K-Pit performance was killer. The issue is their songs suck. Disagree hard about the courses being catchy. For whatever reason Jason saves his worst melodies and most cringe lyrics for the choruses.

I guess critics like their "rebellious" attitude and that mix of influences.

I also believe that sput is generally a little too harsh on these guys since everyone expects them to mix the best elements of their prior projects (me too) but this is clearly not what they're intending to do. This shit just sells better than a mix of nv,ll and chariot.

Sadly this band never touches the musical quality of each respective band. They're something else live though

And I can tell you my dislike of this definitely does not stem from expectations of taking the best qualities from thos bands, as I've only ever heard Letlive out of those and only one album at that. This is just horrific by every metric to my ears. They just produced bile.

still don't know what's up with Jason. Fake History had a perfect production. Then they went to potatoe with Blackest Beautiful and earned shit for that...after that it is only fucking plastic cleaned up pop production bullshit.
