All and all, Bizkit is pretty decent, this is their best album ive heard. Fred Durst isnt that bad a screamer, I like this way better than his rapping. His lyrics kinda suck. Really though, Counterfeit is the bomb. |

Album is completly drowned in ideas, that it struggles to fit them all of them onto one album. The only flaw with the album is the lack of longevity for each song. I swear, the hook in "the gold heart mountain top queen directory" couldve lasted two minutes longer. |

Im gonna go out on a limb here, and say I dont like Dizzy. The best way I could explain this is saying that I just dont get it. O.K. You can make a crazy seizure-like bebop sound. But the sound doesnt go any where. Charlie parker actually had a melody, harmony etc. He was going somewhere. I appreciate his technical ability, but not his music. |

I've bounced between a 4.5, and 5 on this for quite a while. It has the components to be a classic. Its strengths( grounbreakingly landmarking technequality). Yet this album has but one flaw: it has no emotion. It is sociopathical, perfect, and cold. Dimitri Minikakas is completely reliant on one raspy note, only adding to the emotional silence. But ultimatley, thats what pushed my rating the .5: it takes feelings out of the picture, and relies on technecality only pushing instrumentation to new boundaries till it cant get any farther. |
