In 2016 I became the proud parent of a little girl who changed my world, it made such a profound change on me that she mannaged to engulf my whole world from every single thing that used to hold my attention, This site and music as a whole took a back seat to everything around her.rWhy do I mention this? I feel as if its important to understand that, as I walked into this album, my musical tasted had shrunk during 3 and a half years of no stimulus, 3 and a half years of a certain indifference towards most musical endevours of my favorite musicians, This album changed that.rFrom the first riff off of The Lifeless Advance I have become gripped by the sheer relentlessness of this album, It is focused and it actively pushes forward towards its goal with a sense of indiference to whatever destruction and chaos it raises in its path, and makes sure you get their intent, which it seems to me to be that, the moment you hit play, abandon all hope. |

a heavier tone for a ridiculous subject, The Devil Wears Prada continue to progress and stay put at the same time, with much more trash-y riffs like the intro riff for Revive and the usual good gutturals by mike hranica; the the downside of this album comes when he is doing his sort of hardcore yell (wich is just horrible), jeremy dePoyster is another downfall, like on the track Outnumbered, where his singing becomes annoying when mixed with the shouted vocals.
if you are a fan of TDWP this will be a terrific imporvement, with a much faster pased record, and no ridiculous name titles, if you hated TDWP this will pretty much be oblivious to you

A superb output from this truly unique Post-hardcore band, with much improved backing vocals, the standard cryptic lyrics courtesy of Vic Fuentes and a much more improved guitar work, the only detraction? People might find vic's vocals whiney but they can be an aquired taste; "Carapharnelia" might just be this band finest song, and thats saying something |

chugga chugg bro-fest music, if you enjoyed Wormwood or Hell Chose Me this is right up your alley, the album itself is plagued with repetitiveness but my hat is trully off to Rick Hoover with his (although one sided & monotonuos) vocal delivery, the growls are massive, a bit of experimentation wouldnt hurt, the CD wrapping is a huge let down though, the booklet is as simple as they come, overall, its just aight album for an alright band, and whoever said there were doom-esque riffs here can go off himself |

This album comes raging out like a bat out of hell, infecious riffs, witty, and sometimes sensless but fun lyrics are all packed in here with the power of a much more refined punk, there are some really good songs, like Selfdestructo Bust, its one of the strongest musically with a really fun and creative solo near the end of it, this album, and band vastly overrated are something everybody should check out |
