2 years ago I was in love with BOT. They have great hooks and well written songs, and this is a decent mainstream rock album. Try not to get Head in my Hands stuck in your head for a week. |

Just going to assume this will be excellent and on the same level as first 3 (4?) albums. rDomino has reinstalled my love for these guys and I'm stupidly keen for this. Deluxe version rwas totally worth the $80 too! Edit: This album is really great. Lived up to all my rexpectations and I can't wait for Descension as that will probably make this album beyond repic! |

This album is great. It was the first Coheed CD I ever purchased when I was 12 after my friend showed me The Suffering and Coheed has been my favourite band since. As far as guitar work goes, in my opinion you can't do any better. The leads and hooks are amazing, although it is not as technically proficient as some of the prog metal giants. Although a great album, it does not surpass IKSSE:3 of SSTB. |

This is a pretty predictable indie pop album. The songs are well written and the singer drawls his way through the running time. And I fucking love every second of it. This album just hit me at the right time and connected with me. It is perfect but I can understand why people will think it's utter shit. I always come back to this album after a while and know every word, just really great. |

So in 18 months The Smith Street Band have had 3 releases. And every single one of them have been fucking astounding. The follow up to NOGLA lacks the slower songs that paced their debut full length, but it doesn't effect Sunshine and Technology at all. The album is full of folk-punk anthems, catchy hooks and brilliant lyrics. AOTY, without a doubt. |
