Now, I actually like metalcore (some of it anyway), but a lot of the bands just aren't anything special, and Sonic Syndicate are no different. They are basically a Killswitch Engage clone. Only a lot less catchy and talented. Just another run-of-the-mill metalcore group. |

| This is Testaments' best album. Period. Alex Skolnick's guitar solos are absolutely incredible. Eric Peterson's riffs are kick-ass, and Chuck Billy's vocals are probably the best the genre have ever seen. It's a shame these guys are not part of the Big Four. |
