Aesop Rock Labor Days
Not one day goes by that I forget to listen to at least one song from this album. I can literally rap No Regrets backward - I've been listening to this since I was 9. Aesop Rock is a metaphorical beast, and if you think he's speaking gibberish, you just aren't taking the time to understand.

Really upsetting that no one has heard this guy. I was hoping to find him on the site, but was forced to add the album. Really hope he gets checked out - check out the track "The Moon and Its Sun" for some fantastic lyricism. Solid, SOLID rapper.

Unfortunately will remain among the most underrated hip hop figures of all time...RA has arguably the best flow of all time - robotic, multi-syllabic, and literally ridiculous.
Sirens Spore
Very interesting concept. Ambient parts very well orchestrated, metal parts solid and engaging - if only it wasn't so repetitive.

Has absolutely none of the appeal of the preceding release. 'Fuckin' Problems'' highlight is God damn 2 Chainz pretending he's 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar saying 'dick'. Song with Skrillex makes me want to shoot myself in the temple with a dart gun and then have someone shit down the wound

A ridiculously overrated album containing a confused young man's attempt to decide whether he's 'hard' or 'sweet'. Every hipster on the block will call this shit cake a classic because it's inconsistent enough to called 'conceptual'. Aghhhhhhhh.
