5.0 classic
Animal Collective Merriweather Post Pavilion
This is an album by Animal Collective. Therefore, I do not have to explain my rating in detail.
Neutral Milk Hotel In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
Radiohead Kid A
This shows that a clinical, minimalist, electronic masterpiece can also be hugely successful commerically. There is hope left in the world.
The Antlers Hospice
The Microphones The Glow Pt. 2
Yann Tiersen Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain
A real classic soundtrack. Fantastic in every way, and if you dislike it then you are objectively wrong.

4.5 superb

The White Stripes Elephant
This is my rock album of the moment, and so it shall stay for a long time. Another long
review would be irrelevant, which is why I'm planning to write one anyway. Meg White's voice
is awesome, by the way, so don't hate. It's just acquired slower than Jack White, where you
love his voice instantly. 'Ball and Biscuit' is an incredible song in its simplicity.

4.0 excellent
Animal Collective Sung Tongs
Burial Street Halo
Coldplay A Rush of Blood to the Head
Coldplay Parachutes
GZA Liquid Swords
Hans Zimmer Inception
James Blake James Blake
Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Raekwon Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...
Sleep Dopesmoker
Sleigh Bells Treats

3.5 great
Animal Collective People
Great little release from Animal Collective, the most important band in the world! The live
version of 'People' is maybe unnecessary. 'Tikwid' is annoying, in an affable way.
Arcade Fire Neon Bible
Beirut Gulag Orkestar
A great album and a great debut for Zach Cordon under the Beirut moniker. On the following Lon Gisland EP, Beirut expanded into a band, but on 'Gulag' Cordon does very well on his own, crafting some lovely and easy to listen to folk melodies.
Beirut Lon Gisland
I didn't really expect this, but Lon Gisland is a really good EP. It's cinematic, it's easy to listen to, and I couldn't ask much more of Beirut. "Elephant Gun" may be my favourite of theirs.
Coldplay Mylo Xyloto
Earl Sweatshirt EARL
Kid Cudi Man on the Moon: The End of Day
Mount Kimbie Maybes
Radiohead OK Computer
TTNG Animals
Vampire Weekend Vampire Weekend
